It’s here! Luxury Cambria quartz at Zsolt Granite
Family owned, American made.
Cambria’s promising message of business is what distinguishes the company from its competitors and that is why we are happy to announce that we have added 4 luxury Cambria quartz designs to our square foot program at Zsolt Granite Corporation.
Cambria was founded and is owned by the Davis family who are no strangers to entrepreneurship as it has been running in their family for many decades.
The Davis family
The Davis family has a strong entrepreneur background that roots back to the beginning of the 20th century; they established their presence in the dairy business and owned St. Peter Creamery that built strong relationships with local farmers and cream supply during World War II.
While conquering the dairy industry, Davises saw the value in By-products and created a whey protein isolate technology, resulting in launching their new product: BiPro.
After decades of experience and nourishing their several family businesses, they merged their companies and merged to form Davisco Foods in 1986.
In 2000, the Davis family entered the quartz business and bought their first quartz processing equipment which resulted in opening their facility in Le Sueur, MN and launching Cambria as a tile manufacturer.
Cambria
Not long after launching the company, Cambria decided to establish itself on its own at the countertop sector by offering 33 unique designs to its customers.
The development did not stop there: they opened their fabrication facility (Cambria FabShop) and installation service (Quartz Surfaces) in Minnesota to provide their company and their workers hands-on knowledge and skills.
In 2003, the Davis family launched Cambria as a retail brand.
Since their launch, Cambria has become one of the biggest quartz providers in the business and has gained nationwide recognition for their quality work.
In 2016, Cambria has started to expand internationally as well.
Cambria has dozens of dealers across the United States as well as several operating galleries where customers and designers can inspect the beauty and functionality of their products first hand.
Besides being active at the countertop sector, Cambria and the Davis family are committed to support multiple organizations focusing on improving the lives of children with juvenile arthritis.
Cambria quartz
Cambria is known as a manufacturer of a luxury line of quartz surfaces in the United States, and now globally as well.
They make their slabs in the US with hands-on craftsmanship considering every aspect of the manufacturing process to provide their customers with the highest quality products available.
They offer a full lifetime warranty on all their quartz slabs – an offer that is one of a kind in the industry as no other company has this.
But why are Cambria quartz slabs so unique and high quality?
Cambria quartz slabs:
- have the highest level of natural quartz in them
- have outstanding durability: harder than granite, they have the look without the hassle or sacrificing performance as they are less likely to scratch or chip
- have maintenance-free cleanups: just use warm water and a soft cloth to clean, mild soap is optional
- are stain resistant: because of their nonabsorbent and nonporous qualities, Cambria surfaces don’t absorb moisture from raw or leftover food that could result in harmful bacteria being stored in your countertops
The manufacturing of the quartz slabs is environmentally friendly as Cambria uses recycled water during polishing and their quartz mine runs on full hydroelectric power, leaving a smaller and greener footprint.
Cambria quartz surfaces are also NSF 51 certified safe, so they can be used as food prep service in the kitchen.
