What is laser templating?
It’s a digital measuring tool which collects the measurements of your room with a laser light and sends the collected data to our computers.
We put our templating device on a tripod in your kitchen or bathroom and have it collect all details required for the planning process.
Once we have all of the information we need, our experts import the collected data and start working on designing your dream countertop.
Why is it important?
The gathered measurements are used in our Slab Layout program which shows a 3D version of your new countertop created with your parameters, so you can see the final product before installation.
The program uses slabs from our live inventory, so it’s very easy to adjust them to create the desired artistic flow of the countertop and make any correction before they’re in your home.

2. Square foot program to pay for only what your countertop needs
If you’re really thinking about getting new countertops for your home, price can be a large factor in your decision.
When researching countertop installation, you’ll find that in most cases you’re expected to pay for the entire slab of even if not all of it is used for the countertop in your home.
While the pricing depends on the chosen material, we fully understand your apprehension and worries about the expense of new countertops.
That’s why we offer a square foot program to lower your costs.
With this, as long as you choose slabs from our in-stock program, you only pay for the material used for your countertops and nothing more – yes, even if we only use a small portion of the slab in either your kitchen or bathroom regardless of the type of stone.

3. Seaming for aesthetics
Seams are the places where two individual slabs of stones such as marble, granite, quartz or quartzite are joined together.
Unfortunately, sometimes it’s unavoidable to have seams due to the characteristics of the chosen material for the countertops, size of the kitchen countertops or size of the chosen slab.
Nevertheless, let’s be honest, no one likes seams in their countertops.
If not planned and done properly, seams can be distracting focal points of your countertops. However, seams can be less visible!
Using the Seam Phantom, we can make those seams virtually disappear, lessening the visual aspect of the seam.
The Seam-Phantom machine takes away the chips the saw blade creates, leaving only sharp and clean edges and almost make the seam(s) in your countertops invisible.
